A view from Sonai Hometown Forest

     This is a rest zone located halfway up to Mt. Sonai, western part of the island.  It takes about 15 minutes from Kanpira-so by car.  To Mt. Sonai, we can easily go up by car through a maintained paved road from the corner of Seibu Medical Office at Sonai.  Sonai Hometown Forest contains of two rest stations and athletic facilities, being a place to contact with nature.  From here, we can look over Shirahama Bay panoramically, in particular the view in a fine day is wonderful.  Also the local people often visit here.  When you have a little free time, I would recommend you to visit here.
